September at Warm Wishes

Hello again! In the hustle and bustle of transitioning to the brick and mortar life, I missed the fact that the rest of August happened since Stationery Store Day. This means that the physical Warm Wishes store has been open for over a month! This past month has been filled with busy days that flew by, moments of stillness when I wondered if anyone would come in, and many midday dog walks around the Greene County courthouse. I continue to be so grateful for the local support I’ve received- and for the visitors and friends that have stopped in or ordered online from out of town.

I have had so much fun seeing what resonates with folks and finding new artists or products to carry. In just the last month the card and notebook selection has grown, in addition to adding new art prints, notecard sets (including recipe cards!), and Bell Tower magnets. Side note: did you see our magnetic video

Even if it still feels like summer outside, the store is starting to look more like fall. The pumpkin candles are out which means it’s time for a fall weekend! Join us and other local businesses this weekend for the second Saturday Fall Open Houses. Warm Wishes is open Friday 10-4 and Saturday 10-3.

Looking ahead, there is a lot going on Saturday, September 24. If you’ve been waiting for the right time to visit, that weekend might be it! Warm Wishes is excited to be a stop on the Highway 30 roadtrip that encourages small business shopping between Denison- Jefferson.

Saturday, September 24, is also Jefferson’s Art on the Square event. Darcy Hathaway is returning for another story-time at 10am followed by a drawing/coloring activity outside the store all day.  I will share reminders through the blog and on social media as we get closer.

Warm wishes from Warm Wishes,

Kristin
